Who Am I?

I am a Chartered Civil Engineer and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Specialising in the design delivery and management of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in the UK. I have a background in rail and utilities projects.

Incredibly passionate about inclusion in the engineering industry, I have supported the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Physics on a number of campaigns to encourage young girls and women into the engineering industry.

I was recognised as one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering 2022 by the Women's Engineering Society and one of the Top 13 Black Engineers by the Institution of Civil Engineers. I am a Engineers Without Borders Change Maker.

My Story

I grew up in Croydon, deciding I wanted a career in engineering at 16, not really understanding what it was. I attended the University of Portsmouth 2012-16, studying a BEng Civil Engineering (Hons) Degree. The University of Portsmouth awarded me a bursary to study a MSc also in Civil Engineering.

I started a two-year graduate scheme, a mixture of site and design experience. I enjoyed the space in between design and site and pursued a career in design management. I am currently a design manager on a £10m design portfolio for EKFB on behalf of HS2.

Throughout my career, I have put diversity and inclusion at the core of my work. Actively engaging and chairing the networks and groups to improve the working culture to an inclusive one.
