I am a philonoist.
An approachable strategic visionary that empowers and engages teams to successfully deliver projects in a dynamic and challenging environment. Currently a design delivery manager at Bam Nuttall. I manage a multi-million, multi-disipline structures portfolio on behalf of Network Rail. This involves providing integrated engineering management and technical assessments of bridge reconstructions and refurbishments, as well as managing teams of designers delivering to budget, quality and programme. Through my role of innovation lead for Rail South, I facilitate and encourage the use of new material, products and construction methods to provide improved efficiencies to our client and encourage sustainable practices.
I co-founded a social enterprise called Dversty to improve the inclusion of diverse groups in engineering and technology industries. Since launching in 2019, we have provided panel-style events, mentorships schemes, Employee Resource Groups Webinars and a most recently a book club: racism edition.
I am incredibly passionate about improving diversity in Engineering and the pathways for young people. Visiting schools, providing presentations/webinars and mentoring is a key part of who I am. I have been a part of campaigns with Institute of Physics, Institution of Civil Engineers, WISE, Women’s Engineering Society and the Open Data Institute.
Communications Officer for the Railway Civil Engineering Association.

Aside from engineering my passion for people and building relationships continues. In December 2020, I co-founded Hug Hampers.Hug Hampers is an
experiential, ethical and eco-friendly gift-giving service designed to build and enhance relationships.
My friend Phoebe has had devastating news about her young son. He developed a rare form of cancer at age 5. They are currently looking into treatment in Spain as the NHS do not offer any treatment for this type of aggressive cancer. If you can, please can you donate to their go fund me account.
